Andy Stanford

Andy's imagery celebrates the powerful relationship of movement and energy, of transient moments and their impression on our mind's eye as memories.

Andy's images are all about discovering and conveying the dynamic forces at play, in even the most tranquil scene His images do not capture energy for that would be to freeze it, he far more reveals the power and dynamic forces at work and lets us see the hidden nature of what surrounds us.

His work, in an age of digital everything, is refreshingly non-digital. Conventional film in a conventional camera. No computer, no Photoshop no digital gimmickery. The image you see before you is what was recorded on film the instant Andy saw what he wanted to record.

It is Andy's eye as an artist that allows him to reveal what is so easily unseen.
